Sushi played an essential role in my life, because a lot of my day consists of thinking about eating Sushi. I relish the thought of eating Sushi when I am starving and even when craving. Although you might can live several weeks without any food, I wouldn’t be able to survive one day without Sushi. It seems weird and unbelievable, but that’s how crazy I am.

You know, it is impossible that everyday go to Sushi restaurant, or order the food online. However, I really fall in love with Sushi these days…I just CAN’T ! CAN NOT without them even one day in my life.  So, Last night, I went to a hibachi place called “ Yummy Sushi”. I ordered a “California roll”, “Rainbow roll” and “ Dragon roll”( I have totally no ideas why it called Dragon roll, I guessed may be they was imitated Dragon buffet. Who knows~ ). Anyway, I set with my host mom in-front of the chef table, and we can directly see how the chefs made the sushi. I talked to the sushi chefs, asked them do not put wasabi inside the roll.
“ Why don’t you learn to make a sushi by yourself? I mean we can learn it together if you want.” My host mom said.
“ Yup, that’s sounds great! If I know how to make sushi, we can do it at home! I’ve cooked plenty of fried rice, noodles, and created many health food, Why not try sushi? Let’s do it! ” After that, we talked to the sushi chefs, see what they recommend, and watched them how to make a sushi. They’ were pretty gregarious and friendly. I learnt some basic techniques by watching closely.

After I arrived home, I started to quick-scanned several cooking books on sushi-making. This steps actually gave me a lot of information, but no experience in my hand. But right now, I feel like making sushi would be either quite simple or hard. First, I wondered, how hard it could be? cook some rice, grab some nori, cut some fish, buy some veggies and avocados, then roll it all together! That’s it! But I also knew that sushi chefs spend their entire life to research sushi, so could I really expect my freshmen efforts to do it? I have no ideas yet…..

Well, right now, I have to go downstair and make my homemade sushi! Hopefully, I can be make delicious sushi by my own, and bring it to school to share with my classmates~

See you guys on the Friday! I will post my second part blog later! Have a great day!
