                                           what is creative writing?

       Have you ever noticed that nowadays, an increasing number of people like to read the creative story or to watch the science fiction. Here is the question,why were they engrossed in creative writing?
       In my own perspective,the most essential point for creative writing is the plot. In another words, If the plot is  pretty simple, or does not attract readers, no one can endure a boring story,right? However, if the plot twists and turns, and if the ending is the biggest surprise of all, this kind of creative writing must be very popular. Since the interesting storyline can stimulate readers' curiosity and readers want to satisfy their own curiosity, they are willing to continue.
       Take The Vampire Diaries for example. Basically this TV show talks about the love triangle between humans and vampires,which is  two vampire brothers (Stefan and Damon)and a human(Elena). The storyline was deceptively simple. In the beginning of the story, everything seems really ordinary. Stefan was a new transfer student from another town. Elena and Stefan fell in love with each other when they first met, although Elena thought Stefan was odd, because he suddenly appeared in the Elena parents' cemetery.Also, sometimes his eyes became red. Elena didn't  know Stefan buried a dark secret: He was actually a vampire.  Stefan have a evil  brother called Damon. He laughed at Stefan to give up their violence and cruelty of traditional, but Stefan understood his brother, because in the 1.5 century, they both fell in love with a girl called Katherine.This girl was exactly the same as Elena. That's why there was a war between Stefan and Damon.
       Actually, the story was very complicated; the writer spent the whole chapter showing how the deep love between Stefan and Elena, and they faced many problems together and they each gave up their most precious belongings for each other. For Stefan, he changed his habit. He tryed to eat  animals' blood instead of human blood. For Elena, she became a vampire just because she wanted stay with Stefan forever. Until now, everything seemed very happy, but after Damon kissed Elena, everything changed.The plot turns on whether Elena will choose Stefan or Damon. However, as the story unfolded throughout chapter two, I experienced the gamut of emotions: shock, anger,sadness,disgust,confusion. And I really can’t wait to watch other chapters. So, I think it is a very successful TV show, because this TV show had it all—imaginative storyline and dialogue, challenging difficulties,superb graphics. because of the creative storyline, readers are extremely interested in this TV show. Finally they are very popular all over the world.
       For my own creative story, I spent much time thinking about how to connect the painting and my own creative story. Finally, I choose god for my main topic.Since it’s seems more mysterious. The central characters were Satan and Zeus; the minor roles were hydra and Artemis. The storyline was deceptively simple. I added more detail on dialog. Though this story, I was trying  to convey the ideas that the good are well rewarded and the bad are punished.

Zeus Satan Hydra
Long long time ago, there was a village called Bruis. Villagers at that time were very peaceful. They got up early to plant grain and worked really hard everyday. They didn't lived in the lap of luxury, but they were comfortable.
However, after Satan arrived, everything has changed...
Hydra: Zeus, my god, Satan destroyed all the village and everything it’s really bad, the villager have no food and no drink, many of them were died. Also, he uses his power to burned my home. I have no place to go. Zeus:Oh, really? It’s outrageous, and we won't stand for it any more!
Zeus was pretty annoyed when he found out. He used his strongest
power to imprison Satan in the Cypress.
Zeus: Look at what you've done Satan.
Satan: Everyone says I'm the monster so the reason why this happened was because of your people. Everyone was yelling at me, thinking I'm the bad one so take this as a judgement.
Zeus: This is not the way to show that you are good. If you continue doing this, people will yell at you and think that you are a bad person. Hydra:Yes! It's none of my business that people are yelling at you. I became homeless because of you.
Satan: It's too late to complain about what happened. Those people are your problem not mine. So why should I care about them.
Zeus: I don't want to talk to you anymore. You don't have the right to punish people whenever you want. You are not a god.
Hydra: I agree with that!
Satan: Oh really? Your people don't have the right to tell that I'm a bad person, they don't have the right to yell at me!
Zeus: You're going to pay for this.
Satan: I don't think so. I think that you should punish your own people. They are mean, impolite and rude.
Hydra: So are you. Is this how you react when something bad happens? First you should be kind to villagers. 

Zeus: You will be prisoned in the Cypress forever. Satan: No you can't do this to me.
Hydra: You! Go to the prison now!
Satan: Noooooooo 

Final story

      However, after Satan arrived, everything is changed.
     Satan was a real monster,he really enjoyed cruelty. He used his magic let villagers got into a big trouble. He killed the animals, burned the houses, grain…everything was destroyed. Villagers became homeless and have no food to eat. Many people died. 
      Beyond the village there was a huge mountain and there was a hydra lived in that mountain. Since Satan burned all the mountains, so he had no place to live. In a fit of bad temper, hydra goes to fairyland and then found Zeus, who is the supreme leader of the gods. “ Zeus, my god, Satan destroyed all the village and everything it’s really bad, the villager have no food and no drink, many of them were died. Also, he uses his power to burned my home. I have no place to go.” “ Oh, really? It’s outrageous, and we won't stand for it any more!” Zeus was pretty annoyed when he found out. He used his strongest power to imprison Satan in the Cypress. It grows and stretches to became a large and twisted shape but still holds Satan inside. 
          Then, Zeus lets hydra supervise Santa. However, Satan was still very powerful, he was so mad and tried to squirm free. He lets out a shriek of abandoned laughter and dance up and down to flex his body. After this kind of movement , the Cypress was out of shape.  Zeus thinks strengthens the measure is the best choice which to prevent accident occurs. He knows  Satan can't be exposed to daylight because light could reduce his power. Then, Zeus asked  Artemis for help, Artemis brings one moon and eleven fiery yellow stars, these starts look like the huge fireballs illuminate this whole piece and contrast with the cool blue, fluid night sky that takes on an amazing variety of shades of blue and grey. It had this writhing quality to it and its black green.There was also a crescent moon at the top right hand corner that radiates more orange,brighter light from other stars. Suddenly, the night sky was lit up by flashes of lights.
        After this, people gradually returned home. Finally, they live happily ever after.

In class writing

 In this essay, I think I am good at describe the object in this painting. I probably write all the details I am seeing,such as color,different object.... Also, I write a lot of  my own opinion about this painting. However, at the first, I have totally no ideas how to write the good thesis. May be I am not good at summary, so I just struggle with the thesis. Finally I got the perfect thesis.  If I  have more times, I think I will go over the essay again, and add more details and fix some grammar mistakes. Also, I will work on some deep thinking, and try to think more about the artist. Why the Van Gogh Use this color or why he drew this painting or what is he really think about at that time. 

The most illusion painting"starry night"

The most illusion painting “ STARRY NIGHT” 

     Have you ever seen the painting Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh? If not, it will be the pity in your life. He made a lot of famous artistic designs, and Starry Night is one of this. Clarify that sky and the cypress are the essential objects that overwhelm the viewer and overshadow the small village creating a scary feeling about the chaos overpowering the calm village.

       The first thing I noticed was overwhelming night sky,which takes up most of the background. As we can see, eleven fiery yellow stars that look like the huge fireballs illuminate this whole piece and contrast with the cool blue, fluid night sky that takes on an amazing variety of shades of blue and grey. It has this writhing quality to it and its black green.There is also a crescent moon at the top right hand corner that radiates more orange,brighter light from other stars. And then let’s look at the Cypress. It seems to somewhat dampen the dazzling effect of the night sky with its writhing, dark leaves sprawling up on the left side of the picture. It has this snaky form to it and seems totally uncharacteristic with the rest of the painting. I think it disturbs the whole equilibrium to what had could have been a magical depiction of a starry night. The view of the night sky and village is partially blocked by this huge cypress bush in the foreground.

    The other thing I saw it was that the little house, it is tiny and inconspicuous painted in the bottom right corner of the painting and blend in quite well with the forest and mountains.The architecture of  the village quant and simple and no light illuminates of  village. Giving an impression that everyone probably sleep. All the lights are out and everybody's asleep, unaware of the night sky that's bursting with life and the cypress bush writhing in front of them. This depicts some sort of alienation and ignorance. I also feel that the sleepy village represents the rest of the world, unaware of whatever raging passions and agony Van Gogh was going through at that moment. Perhaps this is why the houses seem to appear so far away even though they are actually more or less in the foreground. If we try to overlook this painting, we could see the painting has an illusion of constantly being in motion.

        Through this painting, I feel that Van Gogh probably was hardly able to contain his feeling sand that all his angst and passion seems to have spilled onto this pieces. The moon and stars seem so huge that we feel that the sky is about to fall in on us. The cypress bush, a usually inconspicuous and solemn funeral plant seems almost sinister as it confronts us right smack in front of the picture. The painting seems to be seething with life as the fluid brushstrokes give the impression of movement. In particular, it's the night sky that seems to be the life force of this piece with its bursting dynamism. It seems as if galaxies are in motion and that the stars would plunge into the sleepy town at any moment.The stars and the sky seem to possess such great emotional intensity with its variety of strokes and colors all merging together to form a spiral-like mist in the centre.

the writer you are

       In this day and age, writing is become a main part of life, because it's one way we represent our thought and ideas. We write on homework, test, paper and so on. Personally, I like writing so much, simply because writing can show my opinion to the readers adequately. And I always feel emotional and imaginative when I was writing. But sometime, I feel so tired on writing, because we have to write so many essays and papers in every subjects every week. Besides school stuff, I am used to writing diary for record my daily life.

       Perhaps, the most crucial reason for writing diary is that it can record what happened and how I felt in that day. More specifically, I can write about some amused ormemorable stories in my daily life, which means when I turn over my journal in the future, I will able to remember those meaningful events. I think that is a good habit for me, because I am a forgetful person, so writing diary would help me from missingmemorable moments. Thus, recording vital things is one of the reasons that I like to write diary.

      In addition, another reason which is equally important is that diary can help me to improve my writing skills. It has been generally excepted that write diary can enhance people's ability of expression. Because I am practicing every day, and it won't take too long. It's efficient and beneficial. And read through the whole article can leads me tofind my own mistakes. That's a really good advantage for writing. Without write diary, it would have been less likely for me to practice writing skills that frequent in awilling atmosphere. Therefore, take diary is a good way of enhancing writing skills.

​As far as I am concerned, I would like the writing process with lots of revision, because teachers can give us a lots of suggestion to help us correct the mistakes on writing. And I prefer typing to writing with a pen, cause I can type very fast in computer with no doubt. Bed is my best choice for writing, I think it's very comfortable, so that I can focus on my writing. I like to write because writing is one way to represent myself and share my thoughts to others people. However, sometimes I don't like it because it takes me too much time to finish the school stuff. A huge amount of essays and paper are annoying and makes me feel tired, by and large, writing is a good skill for myself. And I trust in the near future, my writing skills will be enhanced a lot.

    《hero》 is one of Mariah Carey's represents. The song encourages the audience to face the difficulties directly and  bravely of the life, and inspire people to overcome their in confidence. There are three reasons why I choose "Hero". The first reason is that Mariah Carey it's my favorite singer. I love her voice. What's more, This song has a lot of meaning to me. Mainly because it is one of the graduation songs from when I graduated Middle School. As we all know, the educational system in China is pretty brutal. At that period, everyday I was screwed up to the highest tension. But every time when I play this song, I really feel much better, I think this song can be one of the best ways to release stress! Last but not least, the lyrics of this song truly makes me realize the meaning of life: Go ahead and try,and the true hero just lies in the bottom of your heart.

It is one of the most strange and funny song I ever heard. This song including many different kinds of animal's sounds. Like fox, cow, frog, ducks,fish, seal goes..... Anther reason is that this song has meaning for me. When I first heard this song it's in the last year September 4th, which is the first day I study abrade. Until now, I still  remember the scenes at that time. I come to America by myself. pervious to that, I have never been to America. I hold the passport, my school bag and 3 large luggages, just standing at the JFK airport and waiting for my host parents to pick me up. I thinks I am a lucky girl, because everyone in my home stay all are very nice. They helps me a lot and this also it's Ashly( my host sister) 's favorite song. That's why I put this song on my list.

This is a Chinese song by  Tank. It's a song about my first love. I remember when I  was study in middle school, I was fall in love with my ex-boyfreind. He is a cool guy and he loves to play guitar. He not only play well , but also composes. On my16th birthday party, he sang this song for me. In the end of this song, he told me : " I am able to accompany you spend the finest days!" at that time, I feel I am the happiest person in the world. We are dating for 3 years. Although we are broken up now, every time when I heard this song, I just feel warm. Because every single words in this song are contains a special and exclusive memory.
