This show is in a Putnam Valley middle school. Basically is talk about six spellers. They all desirable with different styles.Olive Ostrovsky is a newcomer. Her best friend—dictionary helps her to competitive in the spelling bee. Leaf Coney bear is a crazy boy who comes from large family. She has two sisters and one brother. William Morris Barfee is eliminate because of an allergic reaction to peanuts. His famous “magic foot” method of spelling has boost him to spelling glory.Also, he has an often-mispronounced last name: “Bar-FAY, not BARF-ee. At the end of the play he wins the spelling bee. Logainne is the youngest and most politically speller, often making comments about current political figures.( by the way, she will comment cheshire academy in the show) Chip Tolentino is a funny boy.Finally because he spells the wrong word then kick out of the competition.What’s more, an unusual aspect of the show is that four real audience members are invited on stage to compete in the spelling bee alongside the young characters.
Besides the spellers, Rona Lisa Peretti, Vice principal Douglas Panch and Mitch Mahoney also plays an significant role in this show. Rona Lisa Peretti is a sweet woman who loves children, but she can be very stern when it comes to comes to dealing with Vice Principal Panch, who has feelings for her that she most likely does not return.Ms. Peretti herself won the Third Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee by spelling “ syzygy”, which she recounts at the very beginning of the opening number.Mitch Mahoney is a official comfort counselor. In the show, she always stay with cheer leaders.
